Tutpic was born in Curacao and moved to St. Maarten when he was 18 years old. While here, he was introduced to BET and YoMTV Raps on cable tv and got inspired by the music and thus started a break dance crew called Definition Crew.
Around 1997, Tutpic along with various other locals who had a passion for hip hop (including Duncan, Rukshun, DJ Sheff & more) started the St. Maarten Hip Hop Foundation with the vision to provide a platform for all local rappers.
That same year Tutpic and Rukshun formed the group called Rampage Brothaz and participated in various showcases and talent shows, winning 1st place in Star Pick in 1997. After ending up in a depression due to personal reasons, Tutpic decided to focus all of his energy into music.
“The depression pushed me towards my music, and so I started making my own beats. I got myself a drum machine and started making albums and mix tapes on cassettes and distributed them around the island. That's how I started making my own music.”
In 2001 Tutpic moved to England and got his degree in Graphic Design and Oxford Cambridge English Literature along with his minors in computer qualifications and then moved to Holland.
“I was getting the opportunity to meet new people and was able to build up my craft. I went from beat maker to producer and now I am an executive producer. I am currently working with DomNaaies which gives me the opportunity to work on various mix tapes with people from all over the world. I also DJ in the skateshop Noble Goods Co. (owned by Mac Westmaas) who is also currently sponsoring me for the launch of my clothing line and performance attire. And every last Saturday of the month I have a partnership to do a hip hop show called Ill Street Sessions (presented by Troublesome Crew) which gives artists a platform to showcase their talents.”
Tutpic is also currently working with various local hip hop icons to release new music.
Posse Cut St.Maarten Operation Unity
“After the passing of Hurricane Irma, my need to do something for St. Maarten increased drastically. So I got in touch with my fellow MC's from during my time on St. Maarten, where ever they currently reside, and brought us all together. With the state that St. Maarten is currently in, I believe that we can set a positive example for the youth and show them that there are more positive and productive ways to channel your energy into (other than violence and crime). I believe that we are the perfect example to help the kids gain more self-esteem to follow their passion. They can start at home by building their own style and their own movement of hip hop by writing about their life or about the things in their life so that they too can become positive influences among their peers and help reduce the violence. All of this can start with us.”
Posse Cut currently consists of over 30 contributors who have all united to spread this positive message.
They will be releasing 3 songs between December 2018 and February 2019.

I had an album allready but my computer crashed,
I had no back up, So this is Made at home with my friends true the summer of 2017 Having Barbeque's at home chilling with the you know the ussual herbs and tea. I was just recording on home USB mic live, So this album sounds live!
